The family announces with sorrow his death at home on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Monica Boehner and dearest father of Michael of Geraldton. He is survived by two sisters in Germany and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Burk, a loving father, loyal husband and private man. He adapted to life changes, moving from Germany to Canada and making Canada his home. He will be missed by his family and friends in Geraldton and Winnipeg. Friends were received at Fawcett Funeral Home on Friday May 26th from 10:00am to 11:00am. A funeral mass will be held for Burk at St. Theresa R.C. Church on Friday, May 26th at 11:00 with Mgr. Robert Bourgon officiating. The interment will follow at Pinegrove Cemetery. Donations to the John Owen Evans Residence would be appreciated.
