LIONEL BROCHU
The family announces with sorrow the death of Lionel Joseph Brochu at the Geraldton District Hospital (Palliative Care) on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Denise Brochu and dearest father of: Francine Brochu (Brent); Réjean Brochu (Danielle) and grandchildren: Sébastien & Roxanne; the late Sylvie Brochu-Tanawa and grandchildren: Gordon & Justin; Serge Brochu (Jackie) and grandchildren: Patrick & Mariah; Richard Brochu (Sherry) and grandchildren: Chanise & Landan; Christiane Brochu and grandchild: Cory; and Mario Brochu (Judy) and grandchildren: Chris & Chad. He is survived by his brother and sister: Henri Louis Brochu and Hélène Brochu. Pre-deceased by his parents: Joseph Brochu and Olivette Chabot of Saint-Magloire, Québec; and by his brothers & sisters: Thérèse Audet, Evelyne Dubois, Yvon Brochu and Alphonse Brochu. Lionel loved his family and was a dedicated father and loving husband. He loved the outdoors and time spent with his loving wife. He loved to laugh and tease and remained with a positive attitude till the end. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to take time to thank the Geraldton District Hospital (Palliative Care) department as well as Dr. Bell. A big thanks to all those who made his final moments special.
