It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of our dear Mother and Nona, Alda Del Bianco (nee Santin) of Geraldton, ON, who passed away peacefully with family by her side on the morning of March 5, 2019 in her 89thyear. Loving mother of Ellen and her husband Hubert Cloutier, David and his wife Lisa Del Bianco, Mary Jane and her husband Jim Dunn, and Jimmy Del Bianco (Carmen Depelteau) of Geraldton Ontario. An adorning Nona to Johanna Liscomb (Patrick), Vincent Cloutier (Keri), Nicholas Cloutier (Heidi), Bradley and Noah Dunn, Stephanie Lebel (Remi) and Caitlin Del Bianco of Geraldton ON. Beloved Grand Nona to Nathaniel, Sydney and Lucas Liscomb, Ashton and Kiara Cloutier, Jakob and Matthew Lindsay and Nyah Cloutier. Predeceased by her loving husband Generino Del Bianco and her sister Clara Venier. Alda is survived by her sisters Leonida Battiston of Sudbury Ontario and Anna Maria Marinelli from Italy.

Born July 27th, 1929 in Azzano Decimo Italy to Giovanni and Giuseppina Santin. She immigrated to Canada, moving to Geraldton to be with her husband in April 1950. Alda would do anything for her family and friends. She devoted her life to caring for her family and ensuring that everyone had what they needed, were well fed and she always had the coffee on for anyone who visited. Alda openly embraced everyone that she met and made them feel like they were part of her family. Her caring, compassionate, loving and selfless nature positively impacted many lives.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Fawcett Funeral Home on Friday March 8th from 7-9pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa R.C. Church in Geraldton on March 9th at 11:00am. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to St. Theresa Parish or a charity of your choice.
