Catherine Ann Johnson
Catherine Johnson passed suddenly in her home in Long Lake 58 Reserve on September 17th
2017. She leaves behind her two children Mary-Jane Johnson-Blanchard, 2, and Maelynn
Johnson-Blanchard, 4 months; her parents Riva Johnson, Eugene Johnson, and Stepfather
Louis Wesley; aunts and uncles, Gertrude and Victor Chapais, Clara Fisher, Moses and Linda Legarde, Gerald and Marilyn Ossibens, Gilbert and Dorothy Legarde; siblings Ann-Marie, Vashti, Farrah, Tabitha, Eugene Junior, Natasha, Joshua,Thomas, 12 nieces, and 14 nephews, cousins, and she is also leaving behind her 'wifey' Amy. Catherine loved to be surrounded by family and friends, drawing, listening to music, but most of all – being a mother to her two daughters. Catherine is known to be a great friend, a great listener, a shoulder to cry on, and to bring you smiling with her outgoing and bubbly personality. Catherine touched everyone’s lives with her caring spirit, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but she will be remembered with warm memories.
Family and friends are invited to visit as of 3 pm Wednesday September, 20th at the Longlake #58 First Nation Multi-Cultural Centre, followed by a Funeral Service held on Friday September 22nd at 11am.
