Abraham, Gail Ruth

The family announces with sorrow the passing of Gail Ruth Abraham (nee Abbott) on January 4th, 2018, at the age of 74.  Gail was born March 20th, 1943 in Geraldton, Ontario.  Dearest mother of Gerald (Donna); Scott (Bonnie) of Wabigoon; Randy (Lorieann); and Loisanne (Serge).  She is survived by her brother Keith (Elizabeth) Abbott, of Thunder Bay, and Sister-in-Law Rose Abbott, of Geraldton.  She will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren:  Anthony, Timothy, Jonathon, Cody, Charlie, Brandi, Bobbi-Jo, Raili, Christopher, Eric and Gunner.

Gail was predeceased by her husband Charlie of 51 years; her parents Robert and Ruth Abbott; brother Clifford Abbott, and niece Linda Nayanookeesic.

Family was very important to Gail, she loved spending time playing cards and having a coffee pot always ready. Gail also enjoyed and took pride in making crafts such as cross stitching, knitting, and crocheting, which she gave to children, grandchildren and nephews and nieces.   She loved to travel with her husband Charlie and together they made it from coast to coast.  

As per Gail’s request there will be no formal funeral service, but a celebration of life at Between Bridges Inn, on Highway 11, just east of Geraldton, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on January 13, 2018.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Geraldton District Hospital.  Condolences may be placed at the Residence Funeraire Fawcett Funeral Home website at www.rfffh.com.
