Mr. James Mendowegan
The family announces with sorrow James’ death at the Geraldton District Hospital on October 29, 2018 at the age of 86 yrs. He will be sadly missed by his wife Julia and his children Shelia Jacob of Aroland, Audrey Matasawagon (Donald Poulin) of Geraldton, Loretta Matasawagon (Frank Gagnon) of Nakina and Norma Mendowegan of Hornepayne. He is survived his sisters, Alice Kashkish of Aroland, Sarah Matasawagon of Thunder Bay and Maggie Magiskan (Daniel) of Thunder Bay. He will be sadly missed by his 16 grandchildren and 10 great-granchildren. He is predeceased by son Jamie Matasawagon, his daughters Judy Magiskan and Katherine Mendowegan and his brothers Alex Mendowegan, Pius Mendowegan, Donald “Chub” Matasawagon and Danial Matasawagon.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday November 3rd as of 1:00pm at 16 Wawong Drive in Aroland. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday November 5th at 11:00am at the Johnny Therriault Memorial School in Aroland.
