LUCILLE PELLETIER

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lucille Pelletier (nee Levesque) announces her death, with family by her side, at the Geraldton District Hospital on Monday, May 20, 2019. She was born in Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska, NB on January 4, 1930. She married Guillaume in 1950 and moved to Geraldton in 1951 where she raised her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children : Gilles Pelletier (Irene), Geraldton, Linda Houghton (Murray), Thunder Bay, Donald Pelletier (Doria), Thunder Bay, Doreen Pelletier (Russ Waboose), Geraldton and Jo-Anne Pelletier, Thunder Bay. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael, Jessica, Nathan, Dana, Lee, Jacob and great-granddaughter, Olivia.

Lucille was a proud member of the Daughters of Isabella. Her love of music was reflected when she played her organ and, for many years, directed and sang in the church choir. Mom was all about family, spending many hours playing cards with her children and enjoying the visits from her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Guillaume and her daughter Lori-Anne.

Friends and family will be received at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Hugo Tremblay officiating. The interment will be at Pinegrove Cemetery.

C'est avec grande tristesse que la famille de Lucille Pelletier vous annonce son décès le lundi 20 mai 2019 a l'hôpital du district de Geraldton. Elle est née le 4 janvier 1930 à Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Elle a épousé Guillaume en 1950 et a déménage à Geraldton en 1951 ou elle a élevé sa famille.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Gilles Pelletier (Irene), Geraldton, Linda Houghton (Murray), Thunder Bay, Donald Pelletier (Doria), Thunder Bay, Doreen Pelletier (Russ Waboose), Geraldton et Jo-Anne Pelletier, Thunder Bay ainsi que ses petits-enfants  Michael, Jessica, Nathan, Dana, Lee, Jacob et son arrière petite-fille, Olivia.

Lucille était fière membre des Filles d'Isabelle. La musique et sa famille lui apportaient les plus grands plaisirs. Chacun pouvait témoigner de son amour pour la musique en l’écoutant chanter et jouer l’orgue pour la chorale de l’Église. Elle a d’ailleurs dirigé cette chorale pendant plusieurs années. Elle ne refusait jamais une partie de cartes avec ses enfants et ses amis. Elle adorait les moments passés en compagnie de ses petits-enfants et sa petite-fille.

Elle a été précédée par ses parents, son époux Guillaume et sa fille Lori-Anne.

La famille  recevra les condoléances le samedi 25 mai 2019 de 10 h à 11 h à l'église catholique Ste-Thérèse suivi par la messe funéraire à 11 heures. L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière Pinegrove.
