It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our mother Maria Anna Kozlowski on March 24, 2018 at the age of 88 years.

Beloved wife of Wladyslaw Kozlowski for 52 years.  Loving mother of Teresa (Mike) Barrie, Roman, Sudbury, Marian (Linda) Hornepayne and Helen, Sudbury. Fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren Alexandra, Vanessa, Cory, Rikki, Jurney, Briggs, Kwest and Skyler.

Born in Bogucice, Poland, Maria was the eldest of seven children.  Predeceased by brothers Joseph, John and sister Hannah. 

Our mother had an unwavering faith in God and was an active member in the Holy Family Parish, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario before her health declined.

Maria cherished the time she spent with her family. She took great pride in providing incredible homemade meals for everyone who visited.  She was an amazing gardener and fresh vegetables were always on the menu.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr Cameron, Dr Henderson and all the staff of the Hornepayne Community Hospital. We are truly grateful for all the wonderful care and compassion they provided our “mom” over the last several years.

Friends will be received at Holy Name of Jesus Parish on March 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Funeral ceremony will be at 2:00 pm with Father Roger Pronovost officiating. Interment to follow at the Hornepayne Cemetery. 

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Hornepayne Community Hospital, Long Term Care Unit would be appreciated.
