Miss Phyllis Cecilia Hernandez (nee Magiskan)
The family announce with sorrow her deathy at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on January 2, 2020 at the age of 49 years. Dearest mother of Fernando Hernandez (Alysha Wesley) and Ethan Hernandez (Chantelle Garcia). She is survived by her father Gus Magiskan and pre-deceased by her mother Shirley Magiskan "Gagnon". She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers: Adrienne Magiskan (Wayne Boucher), Ian Magiskan, Eunice Magiskan, Ginette Magiskan (Migel Rivera) and Jonah Magiskan. She will be sadly missed by by 11 nieces/nephews: Jill, Megan, Dante, Taylor, Marcel, Liam, Kai, Johannah, Kymari, Wyatt and Frankie; as well as one great-niece: Zara, and many friends, family and nurses from Thunder Bay Regional Hospital 2A wing who loved her dearly.
Friends were received at 29 Pine Street on Monday January 6th. The Funeral service was held at JTS on January 8th at 11am officiated by Fr. Ben. The burial was held at the Aroland Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Renal unit.
