Amber Towedo Obituary

AMBER LYNN TOWEDO

It is with great sorrow that our family announce the passing of our dear Amber Lynn Towedo, born May 29, 1999 sunset July 20, 2021 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  Amber was full of love, life and laughter, and truly cared for those that needed her.  Her smile was contagious and her laughter could be heard far and wide.  Amber leaves behind her pride and joy, her daughter Theresa Harmony Ann Magiskan.  She lived to see her smile daily and loved her with all her heart.  She was so proud of Terri and the little girl she’s growing up to be.  Her baby girl will always remember and love her forever.  Amber also leaves behind her loving mother, Carianne Towedo of Aroland, ON., who never gave up on her baby girl; her father Geordie Tait of Thunder Bay, ON., who always loved and cared for her; her loving grandparents Theresa Wesley of Aroland, Rolland Towedo Sr. of Thunder Bay, both of whom helped raise her and provided her with a loving and caring home;  Marlene Tait of Thunder Bay, and Clifford Tait of Sachigo Lake, ON., both of whom loved and cared deeply for her; her dear brothers, Martin Megan, Sydney Megan, Brandon Hudson, and Geordie Tait Jr.; her loving sisters Yvonne Quewezence and Geordanna and Genessa Tait; her sweet nieces Serenity Megan, Kinnley Meshake, and Stella Moonias; her adorable nephews Silas Gagnon-Megan, Tobias and Zeldris O’kees.  Amber was very close with her cousins Leila, Eden, Cedar, and Keira Mendowegan, Jayleena and Julianna Jacob, and Clarissa Matasawagon, and Ality Towedo-Lyon, all of whom will forever love and miss her.  Amber also leaves behind her loving aunts – Leah (Robin), Angela (Charles), and Alison Towedo, Andrea Matasawagon, Jolene Tait, and Faith and Diane Vincent; her loving uncles - Rolland Towedo Jr. (Pendora) and Sagatay Tait.  Amber is predeceased by her late aunt Earlene Tait of Thunder Bay.  Amber came from a huge loving and caring family, with friends who all wished nothing but good things for her.  She will be forever loved, missed, and cherished for all the wonderful memories and impact she had on us all.  Amber would have told us to remember the good times and to love and forgive each other.  Amber was laid to rest on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Aroland First Nation.  Our family would like to thank our family, friends, Aroland Chief and Council, the Compassionate Committee, and all who came in our time of need.  We truly appreciate everything you have done for us during this difficult time.
