CORRINE TAPHORN-DARLING

The family announces with sorrow her death at the Geraldton District Hospital on October 14, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Fred and dearest mother of: Vernon (Bev) of Thunder Bay, Ontario; Nonee (Larry) of Caro Michigan; John (Sherry) of Leroy, Saskatchewan and Dwayne (Holly) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is survived by her brothers: Bob (Sharon) of Langley, British Columbia; Ron (Sally) of Bruce Mines, Ontario and her sister: Lynn of New Westminster, British Columbia. She will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her grandmother: Delia Rapley; her mother: Mae Williams and her daughter: Deedee Gauthier.

No service will be held as cremation has taken place. Messages of condolence may be placed at the Résidence funéraire Fawcett Funeral Home website at: www.rfffh.com.

We would like to thank the amazing staff in Palliative Care for the awesome care of Corrine. Our heartfelt thanks to these wonderful, caring and thoughtful people, which helped guide us through our difficult time. Our love to all!
