Obituary - Douglas Finlayson
The family announces his death on July 1, 2023 at the age of 45 years. Beloved father of 2 daughters, Jamie of Thunder Bay and Madison of Biigtigong Nishnaabeg. He is survived by his daughters, his brother Sheldon, his sister Marsha and uncles Edward, Paul, John Sr., Justin, James, Derrick and Wayne and his aunt Laura; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughters Isabella and Ava, who he was so proud of. Douglas is predeceased by his parents Johnny and Sheila Finlayson, his grandparents, his brother Calvin, and nephew Eli. Friends will be received at 202 Otter Road on Long Lake #58 First Nation on July 10, 2023. The funeral ceremony will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Longlac on July 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
