Ernest Henley Obituary
It is with heart felt sorrow that the children of Charles Ernest Henley announce his passing at the age of 97 on February 1, 2020. Predeceased by his wife Mary in 2016, Ernie leaves behind his children: Maureen (Jack), Brian (Suzanne), Coleen, Heather (Scott), James (Nancy), Iola (Rick).He will be sadly missed by his thirteen grand-children, and 22 great-grand-children. He was tenth of fifteen children, born to James Henley and Suzan Boyle, he is survived by siblings Ida Tapp and Hillier Henley, and many nieces and nephews.
Ernie came to Geraldton in 1947; at the age of 25 when he began his 40 year career with Kimberly Clark Canada. He was a Life Time Member of the Knights of Columbus. Upon his retirement, Dad, Mom and Coleen spent summers in Perce, Quebec near Dad and Mom's home town of Barachois de Malbaie, Gaspe, Quebec.
Donations to the Geraldton District Hospital or St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated.
