The family announces with sorrow the passing of their beloved Joy, on Tuesday December 7, 2021 at the Geraldton District Hospital with the love of her life by her side.
Joy is survived by her spouse of 33 years, Darrell, her sons Timothy, Matthew (Janelle) and Luke. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Koen, Kendall, Kindley and Kash. She also leaves behind her siblings Russell (Aletha) of Pike Bay, Ontario, Elinor (Wayne) of Mississauga, Ontario and numerous nieces and nephews. Joy was predeceased by her son Ryan, her first husband Keith, her parents Delmar and Minerva Robbins and her brothers Gordon and Randy.
Joy started fostering children in 2004 up until August 30th of this year. Helping children was her lifeline. She will be greatly missed by the children and workers at the Tikinagan Agency of Aroland.
At Joy’s request, there will be no Funeral Service held. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Nakina Medical Clinic.
