Karen Anne Abernot

With her true love, of over 40 years, and her pride and joy grandson, by her side; Karen Anne Abernot (nee Marr) left this world peacefully on September 30, 2023

She gave so much of her heart to others, it eventually didn’t have enough to support her.

Born in Nakina, Ontario (yes I said Nakina) on April 27, 1947 (age 76). She was proud to tell everyone she met, it was her hometown.

Predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Margaret Otellia Marr and John Jacob Marr and also by, her baby brother Johnny Marr.

Her laugh and unwavering love will be missed by anyone who knew her, but especially by:

Arthur Abernot-Sandra (nee Bolduc)

John Abernot-Brigitte (nee Poliquin)

her Grandchildren Cody, Misty - (Matt) Nakita, Cloé - (Max) & Great Grandchildren Addison & Noah.

Her little sister and best friend Colleen Pasko - Larry and her many nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, there will be no service , but family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at 140 Riverview Street, Longlac, Ontario at 1pm on Saturday, October 7,2023
