A Beautiful Life Taken Too Soon
Melanie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to mother Tracy Lenton and father Melvin Swereda on May 8, 1991. Melanie grew-up in the very small Town of Hornepayne, Ontario where she was raised by her grandma Shirley who she called mom. Melanie attended Hornepayne Public School as well as Hornepayne High School. Melanie loved to call Sudbury, Ontario her second home.
Growing-up, Melanie made more than just friends – if you heard her contagious laugh, you would consider yourself friends right away; and soon after you’d be family in no time. Family was everything to Melanie.
In Melanie’s late teens, she moved to Sudbury, Ontario where she became a mom to two beautiful babies, Shayne first, and then her daughter Sutton. Melanie experienced love at first sight with both of these beautiful blessings. She loved being a mom more than anything.
The last two years of her life, she lived in Geraldton, Ontario with her grandma Shirley. Melanie wanted Geraldton to be her forever home.
