The family announces with sorrow the passing of Pansy at the Geraldton District Hospital on October 15, 2023 at the age of 91.

Pansy was predeceased by her husband Roger, mother Molly Hakansson, father Hilding, Hakansson, brothers Floyd, Dale, Alvin and Glenn Hakansson.

Pansy is survived by her three children Clarence (Rose) Desruisseaux of Nakina, Ontario, Carole Gadbois (Jeff Sliter) of Napanee, Ontario and Sandy Rolick (Larry) of Elora, Ontario.

She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren Derek (Miranda) Desruisseaux, Michael Desruisseaux, Shannon (Yvonne) Gadbois, Kelly (Rob) Bland, Allison (Blair) McDaniel, Christopher (Nicole) Rolick and her seven great grandchildren Jaime, Elliette, Beckett, Ruby, Gage, Amelia and Nathan.

She will be greatly missed and always in our loving memory as a strong woman.

The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the entire nursing staff for the kindness, care and compassion they extended to Pansy and our family.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
