Raymond “Motte” Bolduc Obituary | 1947- 2022
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Mr. Raymond “Motte” Bolduc in the early hours of March 6th, 2022, at the age of 75.
Raymond was born on January 3rd, 1947 to his mother and father; Yvonne Drisdale and Hemenigilde “Megile” Bolduc. He was the youngest of 3 children, and he worshiped his older sisters by whom he is pre-deceased; Yvette Quirion (Andrea Quirion), and Raymonde Drouin (Alpha Drouin).
Ray grew up to be a successful business man who brought so much to his community and the people who surrounded him. He was a loving husband to his beautiful wife of 53 years, Doris Bolduc, and dearest father to his two girls whom he loved so profoundly, Sandra Abernot(Arthur Abernot), and Silvie Moffatt (Kevin Moffatt). Raymond has 4 grand children that meant the world to him and who he would run for at the drop of a hat; Cody Abernot, Misty Abernot (Matt Asperjan), Amber Moffatt (Brandon Byerley), and Alex Moffatt(Dulcee Smith), as well as his great-grandchildren, Addison Abernot, Noah Abernot, Hudson Byerley and Bowen Byerley.
He was a truly dedicated man, he took pride in his family, his company and his friends. He was the man you could always count on, he was a mentor to many, and an absolute light in our community. His work ethic, kind heart, sense of humor, and bright smile will be missed by so many. Raymond’s greatest passion, one in which he truly found the most joy, was being above the clouds in his plane, and so it is with certainty that his smile is just as bright as he soars through heaven doing what he loved most, and watching over those he held close to his heart… Fly high Motte, you will be incredibly missed.
Friends will be received at St-John-the-Baptist Church on March 10th, 2022 at 11:00am with Father Gerard and Father Ben officiating. The interment will be held at the Longlac cemetery. Donations to St. John the Baptist Church would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be placed at the Residence funeraire Fawcett Funeral Home website at: www.rfffh.com
