Samson Meshake
The family announces with sorrow his sudden passing on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 at his home in Aroland First Nation.
Samson will be forever missed by his son’s Cameron and Travis (Jill) and his granddaughter, Zara “Baby Z”. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Rita of Eagle Lake, ON, Delores, Romeo, Harold (Pauline) and Glenda all of Aroland First Nation as well as his numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Casimir and Emily, by his siblings Hector, Stanley, Richard, Gordon and Joyce and his nephews Kristopher and Byron.
Samson devoted a lot of his time to his culture and the youth of Aroland as it was important to him to maintain the traditional ways of life. He was a big supporter of community events, you would always find him volunteering and helping out anyway he could. He loved the outdoors, travelling, Pow Wow’s and spending time with family and friends. His community will miss his sense of humour and his smile.
