Mr. William Bozowskyi
The family announces his death at the Hornepayne Community Hospital on August 22, 2022 at the age of 74. Dearest father to Rhonda Dumoulin (Marc Fortier) of Hornepayne, Darryl Bozowskyi (Urusla) of Sault Ste. Marie, Jodi-Lynn Brouillard (Glen Guise) of Sault Ste. Marie and Crystal Wallingford (Miles) of Hornepayne. He will be sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren; Haylie, Trinity, Carla, Tyler, Daryl-Lynn, Drake, Christopher, Brandyn and Devon. He will also be missed by his 10 great grandchildren; Karl, Hazel, Jaxtyn, Landin, Ava, Kade, Dryphen, Knox, Rylan and Atlas. He was predeceased by Troy and Amber.
Our father, William Bozowskyi was born in Saltau, Germany in a displaced person camp on July 17, 1948. He then immigrated to Canada with his mother at the age of 2 in May of 1950, aboard the USS General Langfit. They reunited with his father in Penhurst, Ontario. At the age of 5, he moved with his parents t0 Hornepayne where he lived in the same house for the rest of his life.
He worked for Canadian National Railway from age 18 until his retirement. His joys in life were puttering around fixing everything or inventing something. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and he also enjoyed the occasional beer with friends.
