My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends. Jim was a special person. He always made me laugh. I will sadly miss his little jokes and his smile. Thinking of all of you during these hard times. I'm sure he will be watching over all of you!

Our deepest sympathies to your family. James was in the room next to my husband, Joe, in the MOTS unit at University Hospital. Joe also had a heart transplant. James, Joe, Nancy and a few other guys would attend physiotherapy and clinic together. It was such a great group and James was always there with a smile and a funny story. They were so supportive of each other. We just visited him again recently and he was still smiling and laughing. We were so sorry to hear that he has passed away. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to James' family. I only knew him a short time as we both had heart transplants roughly the same time but we sort of bonded because we both came from Thunder Bay. My husband told him he would take him fishing this summer. We were looking forward to catching up with him
