At this time of sorrow and grief, the family of Gérard Tremblay announces his peaceful passing at the Geraldton District Hospital on the 17th day of December 2017 at the age of 77. He was born on the 16th day of December 1940 in Beaucanton, Québec to the late Augustin Tremblay & the late Simone Emond. Gérard is survived by his sons: Roger Tremblay and Mario Tremblay and his daughter: Christine Tremblay. Gérard was a grandfather of five grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother: Fernand Tremblay; his sister: Suzanne (Yvon) and his half brothers and sisters: Mariette Davidson (Normand), Paul Davidson, Réal Davidson and Thérèse Davidson. Pre-deceased by his ex-wife (and mother of his children): Pauline Lafontaine; his son: Guy Tremblay and his daughter: Nancy Tremblay. Gérard was a hard worker and will be dearly missed by family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
