ACHNEEPINESKUM, Meredith
Ms. Meredith “Patch” Achneepineskum, age 46 years, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Meredith was born April 8, 1971 in Geraldton, Ontario to Eddy and Pearl Achneepineskum. She had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. Meredith liked to help people and was a good listener. Most of all she loved her family.
Meredith is survived by her mother, Pearl (Gabe); children, Sunset, Jade, James, Eddy, Kylee; siblings, Waylon (Brenda), Willy (Thomastine), Stephen (Cindy), Robert (Jackie) and Audrey (Nick); sister in-law, Mary Slipperjack and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her father Eddy; son Kyle and brothers Jordan and Edward.
Funeral services for the late Meredith Achneepineskum will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma with Fr. Larry Kroker s.j. officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the chapel.
A second visitation will be held in Geraldton on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Fawcett Funeral Home from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a wake and service will follow in Ogoki on Thursday, October 19, 2017.
