Robert Desbiens

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Robert Desbiens of Geraldton on Saturday September 23, 2017. Robert was born in St-Jerome,Quebec. He was employed with CP Rail in Montreal before moving to Geraldton in the spring of 1986 where he was employed by Geraldton Community Forest. He then started his career as a truck driver.  He is survived by his mother Simone Huckle of Montreal, Quebec, his sisters, Murielle, Nicole, Marjolaine, Lisette, Isabelle, all from Montreal and Helene Desbiens Brousseau (Sylvio) from Geraldton, his step-daughters, Jennifer Reid (William) of Petawawa, Kelly-Ann Brousseau of Ottawa, grand-kids, Jaimee, Jayden and Nixie-Rae.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Pre -deceased by his father Roger Desbiens, brother Patrick  Desbiens and sister Dominique Desbiens. Robert will be Buried in the family plot in Montreal. Donations to the Northern Cancer Fund would be appreciated.
