Rose Swereda

SWEREDA, Rose Marie (nee Korbyl)

Peacefully at Geraldton District Hospital on December 26, 2017 at the age of 70.  Rose was the beloved wife and best friend of Stan Swereda, cherished mother of Adeline Zen (David), Stanley (Nicole), George (Tracy), Susan (Paul).  Loving Baba and Grandma to Stephanie (Max), Ashley, Deanna (Dan), Katelyn, Shyla, Kiarra (Dan), Javanna, Natashia (Kyle), Rachelle, Zarek and Lukas.  She will be sadly missed by her brothers Edward and Raymond (Irene).  Predeceased by her parents Frank and Katherine and sister Vicky.  She lived her life for her family and had a vast love for gardening, farming and berry picking.  She held a special place in many hearts.  She was a kind, giving and caring person.  The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses (especially Devon and Pat) for their caring disposition and compassion during this difficult time.  It will never be forgotten. Family and friends are invited to Celebrate Rose’s life on Saturday December 30^th at 11am at the Royal Canadian Legion in Geraldton.  Donations, if desired, can be made to B.A. Parker Public School breakfast program would be greatly acknowledged by the family.
